just had my first real non-organic non-turkey-or-veggie-or-black-bean burger since before track season and may i just say

moderation y’all
this “clean eating” thing is a month long period of my life. I am not going to swear off those foods for the rest of my life. In fact, directly after state championships I am getting a burger and a milkshake. So.
for those of you asking about my nutrition update I said I was gonna make, here it is!
so during championship season (well a couple weeks before actually so we feel the effects by championship season) my teammate and I have this thing where we eat completely whole, basically paleo foods with the exception of peanut butter, oats, clif bars, and whatever we normally eat the day before/of racing (whether that be granola bars or whatever)
so basically the bulk of my diet has been nuts, meat, cultured dairy, tons of veggies both starchy and leafy, and a fair bit of fruit. plus a daily clif bar, maybe another granola bar in a pinch, oatmeal for breakfast, and like at least three servings of pb a day haha. but my only sources of sugar are the scarce energy bar, all the fruit, and natural dairy sugars.
and a couple weeks after starting that, I leaned out visibly (to me at least) and PRed three times in a week
so I felt the need to tell y’all about that

casual on-the-way-to-pool snack. WHY ARE YOU ALL LOOKIN AT ME LIKE THAT
also I just bought PB2 out of sheer curiosity like I love my peanut butter calories but I kinda just wanted to see what all the fuss was about
so now I have skippy chunky, skippy natural, earth balance chunky coconut, earth balance creamy coconut, dark chocolate pb, and pb2
I have a problem
random things that are totally cool to eat that i just happen to hate:
cheese omg
mayo OMG
the yolk of hard boiled eggs
ham
bell peppers
melon
sugar snap peas
almost every kind of salad dressing tastes repulsive to me (except this one kind of italian, raspberry, and asian dressings)
gatorade
zucchini
brazil nuts
best lunch ever i kid you not
asian chopped salad with grilled chicken, spiced cashews, a bunch of asian-slaw-esque veggies, ginger soy dressing and sesame flatbread
plus half dark chocolate froyo half coconut froyo topped with shredded coconut, crushed up oreo, and chocolate sprinkles nommmmmm

also breakfast was my normal oatmeal, some peach yogurt - insert cross-training practice (aka a bunch of circuits) here - then a clif bar - insert 90 min bike here
and then an orange bc idk
so y’all were slackin in terms of ogling at these babies so I’m posting another picture to give y’all a chance to redeem yourselves
